The platform connects medical AI companies with hospitals and laboratories, facilitating the sharing of large-scale, high-quality medical data that is essential for training and developing AI models in the healthcare sector. This initiative seeks to overcome the data access challenges in medical AI, which has been a significant barrier to the field's rapid advancement.
The objective is to develop a system for early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of abnormal gait using advanced technologies such as Kinect and IMU sensors. The system aims to address the growing need for effective, affordable, and accessible gait analysis tools, particularly for conditions like Cerebral Palsy and other gait abnormalities, which affect a significant portion of the population, particularly in rural areas. By offering real-time feedback, remote monitoring, and virtual therapy, the goal is to improve outcomes for patients by enabling early detection and timely intervention, thereby preventing long-term cardiovascular and musculoskeletal issues.
