The objective is to develop a system for early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of abnormal gait using advanced technologies such as Kinect and IMU sensors. The system aims to address the growing need for effective, affordable, and accessible gait analysis tools, particularly for conditions like Cerebral Palsy and other gait abnormalities, which affect a significant portion of the population, particularly in rural areas. By offering real-time feedback, remote monitoring, and virtual therapy, the goal is to improve outcomes for patients by enabling early detection and timely intervention, thereby preventing long-term cardiovascular and musculoskeletal issues.

STAGE OF DEVELOPMENT - TRL 6
Gait Revive offers a comprehensive health technology solution developed by J Hemashree Sehaba Banu Shaik under the guidance of PI Mouli Sai Krishna Kumar Nyshadam from BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women and addresses the limitations of current abnormal gait classification, which primarily focuses on cerebral palsy in children and relies on tedious manual techniques. This technology provides remote monitoring via an app, personalized virtual therapy, automated prognosis reports, and ease of abnormal gait diagnosis, aiming to promote health equity by providing accessible gait analysis and therapy to underserved communities
