Over 85% of all human diseases are driven by underlying genetic errors, affecting over one billion people globally. Many of the diseases including cancers and heart ailments can be prevented if genetic predisposition is known before symptoms appear. Current genetic screening techniques mainly rely on polygenic risk score calculations which is population specific and have very poor sensitivity (<40%) and high false positive rate of upto 30%. These techniques usually fail in providing accurate results in ethnicities such as those from India.
