MediFor7 was inspired by the recurring challenges faced by elderly family members, hospitals, and busy professionals in managing complex medication schedules. Many older adults struggle to take multiple medicines at the correct times, often missing doses or taking the wrong ones. This issue extends to hospital settings, where nurses find it difficult to administer medication to numerous patients on time. Busy professionals with demanding schedules also face similar challenges. Realizing that 16 crore Indians take medicine daily, we developed MediFor7, a two-part solution. The hardware consists of a smart box with multiple containers, each equipped with LED indicators and a voice alert system to signal when it's time to take a specific medication. The accompanying mobile app allows users to set reminders, monitor medication intake, and track overall consumption. Powered by a rechargeable battery, MediFor7 simplifies medication management and prevents errors.
