AICA as the name suggests is an Artificial Intelligence based care assistant. We are leveraging AI to build care assistants across therapeutic areas. Our current focus area is cancer care where AICA as a digital cancer care assistant help’s patients with improved health outcomes.
Caregiving, managing treatment for patients, and family is super hard. Cancer treatment is a long drawn out battle. Patients and caregivers have a zillion questions on treatment, side effect management, but there is no easy access to doctors, clinically factual information beyond OPD hours that can help patients and caregivers. There is no easy way for patients and caregivers to manage health updates or administer care or offer support for symptoms and side effect management. Most caregivers also lack the necessary skills and knowledge to address the complex needs of cancer patients.
On the other hand, Dr’s are stressed and overworked with the patient load. 15 of every 20 questions asked are repetitive. If we can help patients and caregivers with validated information via a care assistant, we can save time for doctors, while reducing redundancies and increasing efficiency for doctors and health systems alike.
We are a deep tech solution leveraging AI as a care assistant to help patients and their families with care assistance, easier management and improved metrics. We are building our own proprietary model using proprietary data.
AICA as a unique mix of software, process and delivery has simplified adoption by building an always on care eco system for patients. A simple QR scan and the AI enabled chat and the voice solution kicks in, while the deep tech backend helps patients with clinically factual information. A scoring mechanism helps patients with intelligent triaging reducing redundancies and increasing efficiency for health systems.
As we get real world data and evidence, we will be able to train better and work on digital twins, precision medication, personalisation, research, analytics, and clinical trial solutions.
